We must support a gas-line route that will bring the maximum benefit to Alaskans including making natural gas available for homes, businesses and industry.

While market conditions for the development of a natural gas line are very favorable, it is important that the negotiations are done right. We must not miss this window of opportunity. Other nations are moving quickly to capture markets that will no longer be available if there is further delay.

We must maximize the return on our resources to benefit the people, not special interest or the privileged. The resources rightfully belong to Alaskans and the constitution requires that we do so.
