John Binkley for Governor of Alaska

Over the past eight months we have worked hard on our campaign. Volunteers from throughout the state came forward to help us get our message out and win. We fought hard and we met with so much support and encouragement from Alaskans everywhere we went. It was an honor and a privilege to meet each and every one of you along the campaign trail.

I can't say how much Judy and I appreciate everyone who worked on my campaign - the sacrifices of my family, the dedication of our amazing volunteers, the hard work and professionalism of our excellent staff, and our responsive and professional vendors. Without a doubt a campaign is a collective effort from start to finish.

As I said to our volunteers on Election Night: there are many ways to serve. I hope everyone who worked on my campaign will go out and find other positive places to be of service. Whether you work in other campaigns, give time to your church, volunteer in your community or put your energies into your job and your family, I hope you will continue to try to make a difference for the better in your world.
